The atlas
Scripture happens somewhere. These pages give you the ground under the passage — where the places are in relation to each other, how far people actually walked, when it happened against the dated record, and what the objects and buildings looked like. Every entry names the excavation, inscription or chronicle it rests on, and says plainly where nothing has been found.
The world of the text
123 identified places, from Rome to Ur. Hover a pin for its name and what it is; click it to open a photograph of the site.
Journeys
Abraham's migration, the Exodus, the Galilean circuit, Paul's four voyages and the exile, traced stop by stop with distances and what the record fixes.
Timelines
Kings, empires and prophets on parallel bands, each entry anchored to a dated inscription, chronicle or excavated layer.
Diagrams
The tabernacle, the temple courts, the ark, a four-room house and the coins — drawn to the measurements the text gives and the examples that have been dug up.
People & power
Family lines from Terah to the Herods, and the Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman rulers who held the land.
